Our one-day and half-day media training courses prepare you to make the most of media interviews through practical advice and hands-on experience.
You may have to do a live spot on morning radio, a quick sound bite for the evening news or an in-depth newspaper feature. Whatever the medium, preparation is the key.
Our media training days simulate the real thing; the journalists, the spotlights, the camera, the microphones, the tension; so you know what it’s like when it comes time to do it for real. We offer a range of courses to suit all levels, from first steps in media encounters to advanced broadcast interviews.
This session focuses on identifying and refining key messages for the news media, understanding their demands and simulated interviews with a print journalist.
All participants receive constructive and helpful feedback. By the end, participants will know how to deliver clear, concise and effective media-friendly messages – and feel confident and competent to do it for real.
The media training session focuses on identifying and refining key messages for delivery to both print and broadcast journalists.
This course introduces television techniques as well as print and radio.
Participants will be prepared for all kinds of broadcast interviews, including pre-recorded and live, face-to-face and down-the-line. A demanding and intense session, this is suited for spokespeople with some experience of media interviews. Copies of all interviews will be provided on CD or VHS.
