Julie Walters
Julie, a director and co-founder of Media Speak, specialises in the clear communication of healthcare.
Over the past seven years, she has helped hundreds of pharmaceutical managers and leading doctors to tell often complicated stories effectively and concisely.
Before establishing Media Speak in September 2000, Julie's career as a television reporter and news editor with TV-am, GMTV and Reuters led her to cover national and international stories, from consumer battles with Britain's high street banks to the 1991 Gulf War, where she was one of the first journalists to enter Kuwait after liberation. Her career began at The West Australian newspaper in Perth before she moved to Britain in 1988 to fulfil a dream to work on Fleet Street. Julie holds a BSc in molecular genetics and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, and the International Association of Business Communicators.
